Ostara

Ostara was the Anglo-Saxon goddess of Spring. When the Christians borrowed this part of paganism they renamed it Easter. The Easter egg and Easter rabbit come from the fact that Ostara was a fertility goddess, with eggs and hares as symbols of fertility. However you celebrate, Spring is a sign that Winter is truly over. Celebrate the glory of Spring by visualizing the flowers and fruiting plants rising up through the earth to grow and blossom and bring forth life.

Notes: Many flowers and wildflowers, delicate and young and fresh (not heady), a touch of Juniper and Sweet Oranges, Melissa Oil, and a wee bit of pungent Earth. You will feel like the goddess of Spring wearing this fabulous scent!
